PLT is a trio offering up a tasty dish of jazz that swings, sambas, grooves and can also caress with a tender ballad. They play a melange of original music composed by all members, plus jazz and Latin standards as well as less standard selections. PLT is about connection with each other and the engagement that this elicits from their audiences. They play not only for their listeners, but indeed with them.
PLT were invited to inaugurate the Take Five room, a dedicated jazz room on a cruise ship, in 2019. Their trajectory has taken them around the globe, having held down the Take Five since its genesis.
Philippe (USA), Claudio (ARG) and Jose (ARG) are world citizens, bringing the experience of musical and cultural diversity to the jazz table. All three members are based in Europe -- the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland, respectively.
While using a world recipe, jazz is their main ingredient and they remain devoted to this music as a means of positive communication and upliftment.
PLT offers an engaging live performance and is seeking venues in Europe and beyond in order to bring the joyful sound of jazz to more people.
